Free shuttles run all day during ski season between Fraser and the Winter Park ski area. The shuttle stop is conveniently located in front of the Conoco station just down the block from the Worst Western Hotel. Directions From Denver:
Take I 70 West to exit 232 (marked Empire/Granby) on
to Hwy 40 west and travel over Berthoud Pass. Berthoud Pass ski area is located at the top of Berthoud
pass at which point you cross over the continental divide (11,500 feet above sea level!)
At the base of the pass there will be an exit for Mary Jane ski area, which is part of the Winter Park ski area. Continue past the MaryJane turn off and a few more miles down the road you will see the Winter Park ski area.
2 miles past the ski area is the town of Winter Park and 2 miles past Winter Park is the town of Fraser. Once in Fraser, go through the stop light and look for a Conoco gas station on your left.
Take the first left just past the Conoco (Eisenhower Drive - no sign ) and the Worst Western will be the 3rd building on the right.
